Once You Have My Measurements, How Do I Make Future Orders?

Simply select fabrics online for your new order. When your order is ready, we will ship it to you directly or if you prefer, you are welcome to book an appointment to order and/or pick up in person.

How Long Will It Take For Me To Receive My Order?

Due to the varying availability of in stock fabric, some orders may take longer than orders. We encourage you to plan ahead so you don’t have to worry about having your clothing being ready for a specific event, vacation or season. We will keep you updated via email with suggested dates to start making seasonal orders.

How Do I Unsubscribe From Your Emails?

Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

What Delivery Options Are Available?

Domestic shipping is complimentary on all orders. Expedited shipping and international shipping are available as well at cost. Once we have your measurements on file, we encourage you to utilize whichever delivery method you prefer including in store pick-up.

Will I Be Charged Sales Tax?

In accordance with New York City sales tax code, we charge 8.875% sales tax on all orders.

What's The Best Way For Me To Refer A Client To You?

We appreciate our clients and a great deal of our business is generated through word of mouth, a big thanks to all of you who spread the word. If you would like to refer a specific client, please simply direct them to our site.

How Long Does The Process Take?

Your first order takes the longest as we are establishing your measurements. Custom Suits usually take 5 weeks to take home. Custom shirts take 2 weeks for your first sample and 3 to 4 weeks after for the remaining shirts in the order. Please keep in mind that fabric availability and various other factors can affect the duration of order fulfillment.

Can I Cancel My Order?

We submit all orders the day of the order. If the fabric is in stock, our tailors immediately begin cutting your order and if the fabric isn’t stocked in house, we order it same day. Because of this, we are unable to cancel any customized order once it has been submitted.

How Can We Achieve The Right Fit?

A perfect fit is one of the core tenets of Benjamin custom products. There are two ways to go about making sure you have the right fit. Some clients own items they love the fit of and prefer to bring those items in as a guide for fit. Regardless of the quality or condition of these items, they can prove to be quite helpful in us understanding your fit preferences.

For those who do not have items they are happy with the fit of, we will discuss your preferences during the fitting. In general, we like to make our products slim but not skinny so that they wear well and flatter your body.

Are Your Custom Products Made To Measure, Bespoke Or Custom?

Our suits are made to measure which means every piece is uniquely fitted to each client based on time tested patterns that are updated quarterly with contemporary fit preferences. We choose the pattern right for you based on your fit preference and body type. From there we adjust the stylistic elements of the pattern as you wish.

Our shirts are bespoke which means we create a unique pattern for each client. We do this in the traditional way and we are happy to offer this level of service to our clients at great prices.

Custom is a term used to describe anything that can be customized. As such, we hope the above descriptions provide a bit more clarity on how we are unique.

Is My Package Insured?

All items are insured against theft and accidental damage while in transit from Benjamin's Custom to the delivery address

How Will My Order Ship?

We ship all domestic packages using UPS and all foreign packages using DHL. Rush orders can be shipped globally via UPS Expedited at cost.

When Will I Receive My Order?

We will provide you with tracking information for each order so you can monitor the delivery as you like.

When Will Shipping Be Charged?

Domestic non-rush orders are delivered at no cost to you. If you have a rush order or we are shipping out of country, shipping costs will be charged the day the item is shipped.

How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Domestic orders are shipped at no charge to you. We will notify you of the shipping charges for rush orders and out of country orders prior to shipment.
