We recommend wearing a shirt no more than once a week. Starch and pressing machines damage the natural fibers in your clothing and from time to time they will fracture or break your buttons.
Machine wash on warm and gentle cycle settings. Dry shirts on a low setting. Do not use bleach. Be sure to use the appropriate setting on the iron for the fabric.
Following the care instructions will help to ensure an extended life and wear of our handcrafted shirts. All of our selected shirt fabrics are color-fast to washing.
The standard life expectancy is 50-60 washings. Hand washing and pressing will prolong the life of the shirt and minimize shrinkage of collars and cuffs.
We recommend wearing a suit no more than twice a week. When you shower, hang the suit you wore in the bathroom so it can deodorize and breathe; Then hang it outside of your closet for a night before placing it back in your closet. Always opt for a hand press.
For your year round suits, be sure to order two trousers for each suit. Each time you wear the suit, alternate use from one trouser to the other to lengthen the life cycle of the suit and to give the natural fibers in the trousers time to breathe.
